History

1936 – Origins of M.C. Tank Transport, Inc. began as V & C Trucking, and later becomes M.C. Trucking Co.

1955 – Joe McGranahan changes M.C. Trucking Co. to M.C. Tank and begins hauling sulfuric acid in Cincinnati, OH

1979 – M.C. Tank starts third generation of family management under Tim Anderson

1980’s – M.C. Tank begins operations in Tennessee.

1990's – M.C. Tank opens facilities in Pittsburgh, Sardis, and Chattanooga. 

2004 – M. C. Tank opens terminal in Toledo, OH

2013 – M. C. Tank opens terminal in Chicago, IL

2013 – M.C. Tank opens terminal in Philadelphia, PA

2014 – M.C. Tank purchases Don Flowers Trucking and assumes the operations of the Dalton, GA facility

2014 – M.C. Tank opens terminal in Atlanta, GA

2015 - M.C. Tank starts fourth generation of family management under Mike Anderson

2015 - M.C. Tank begins operations in Charleston, SC and Savannah, GA to transport ISO-Container shipments

2015 - M.C. Tank opens terminal in Houston, TX

2015 - M.C. Tank opens its first container depot in Charleston, SC

2019 - M.C. Tank opens it's second container depot in Savannah, GA
